Klarr makes traditional organs with individualized digital sound systems. The sound of each pipe is created by our expert on the basis of the sound of genuine organ voices and tuned so that it suits a specific location. This ensures that there are no two identical instruments.

At Klarr we do not have a product catalogue because each and every one of our instruments is an original project of our organ expert and is a result of both his knowledge and experience and a thorough analysis of customer’s needs and the requirements imposed by the place for which the instrument is intended.

This stage involves an analysis of the space intended for the organs – we perform a lot of calculations and determine the aesthetic and historical style of the place. On the other hand, by interviewing customers, we recognize their expectations about the instruments, which enables us to build organs fully adapted to their needs.
This stage involves the work not only on the instrument’s appearance, but primarily on the way it sounds. The selection of voices depends on the size of the room where the instrument is supposed to be placed.For instance, a large concert hall requires organs with a few divisions, while for a small wooden church a limited number of voices would be enough.>
Apart from the number of voices, we select their type and sound. It gives us the opportunity to provide a unique sound system which simulates all the sounds with accuracy. At this stage we also deal with the question of the functionality of the instrument – we determine the number of free combinations and manuals, register system solutions and a number of other elements related to the operation of the instrument.
The external appearance and size of the organs, i.e. the organ case, organ prospect and console are frequently adjusted to the style of the room and, consequently, to the characteristics of the whole place.
This is the moment when the heart of the instrument comes into being – the selection of voices, i.e. the sound package. We select the best solutions for each instrument so that they reflect the character of the entire instrument and, what is also important, match the sound of organs built in a particular age.
During the construction process, Klarr manufactures a wide range of organ elements. These include, among others, wooden cases, keyboards, electronic elements and connections, prospect pipes. At this stage with the use of world-class transducers we build a complete sound system.
When particular elements of the instrument are delivered on site, we join them to form a whole. Now, we face the most important part of the work which is performed on the basis of the experience of the organ expert and acoustician.
We tune the sound system to meet the acoustic requirements of the room and then we tune each pipe to make the organs sound authentic, sharp and strong.
